Our grassroots Community Project is based in Notting
Dale – the poor cousin of Notting Hill! Our Community Education Programme
provides a structured, integrated set of activities for disadvantaged people
in our local area.
Our Community Education Programme includes:
Communicate English Language classes for refugees
and asylum seekers.
IntoUniversity
An innovative,
free service providing ongoing welfare and learning support for young people
most at risk of failing to meet their potential.
Community Shop
Our ‘shop’ provides good quality household goods,
non-perishable food, clothing and toys at extremely low prices, to the
homeless or those on very low incomes (shop opening times Wednesdays:
11-12.30pm). We are delighted that our dedicated volunteers, Gladys and Lorraine, run the
community shop so efficiently for us.
Eco Garden St Clement’s Community Garden provides outdoor recreational space and an outdoor cla
ssroom. The pond and plants provide opportunities for young people to learn more about the natural world.
